Extra Information:

1) LUNCH: 
Eat a big and healthy breakfast at home! Lunch will be provided.

2) BABYSITTING
: Babysitting will be provided at the location for a charge of $10.00USD per child. Parents are responsible to provide food, diapers, a pair of extra clothes, etc. and anything else necessary.
3) CHILDREN: Children under the age of 12 will not be permitted in the lecture hall and will be requested to proceed to the babysitting area. Please plan ahead. Children age 12 and up will have to register at adult rates.
4) ACCOMMODATIONS: Those coming in from out of town or out of the region will be responsible for their own accommodations and transportation.

5) DRESS CODE:
 Everyone should wear loose fitting comfortable attire. Because of the nature of the exercises, women should take care to wear hand sleeves and hijab head caps. There will be a partition between the men and women.

6) ETIQUETTE: For this event to run smoothly, everyone is expected to arrive early. Arriving late disturbs the speaker and the class. Keep cell phones off during the course. You will have time in between sessions to check your phone.

– What is illness and why do we get sick?
– Perspective’s effect on health (mind-body medicine)
– Intro to overcoming illness (diet, exercise, Qi Gong, lifestyle)
– Trauma (identification and release)
– Lifestyle changes for health (nutrition, exercise, other factors)
– Techniques for weight loss and maintaining healthy weight
– Guidance about complementary and alternative medicine
The workshop will be informal, intimate, and interactive. There will Q&A sessions.
